The Lone Ranger and Tonto have to solve a series of holdups in the Mesa Junction area. Lovestruck Sheriff Will Harrington (Guy Williams) doesn't want to believe that Julia Gregory, with the help of two others are pulling numerous stage robberies.

The Lone Ranger disguises himself as an old man to get the evidence he needs to prove to the Sheriff that Julia is using him. With justice once again restored, the Lone Ranger rides away, leaving the sheriff to ponder the identity of the masked man.
